This is all he knew, inflicted pain, orders, and threats to keep the order of operation in tactic.

I didn’t give a fuck if the operations burned down to the fucking ground, my innocence was taken from me, so life was taken from him. Simple.

“Til’ this day, I can’t believe you took my brother’s life, but I knew someone would, but I didn’t think it was you chile” My aunt Jean spoke

I sat and listened to her while she rambled off about Ramallah and the family business, how my mother Ayala really was after a bag, and didn’t care whom she hurt in the process. I cut my eye at my aunt, who had a sly smirk on her face.

“I hope you don’t think you’re hurting my feelings by telling me my mother didn’t want me, Aunt Jean. I know my mother wanted me she just had issues with my biological father whom I didn’t know” I answered

My Aunt Jean chuckled.

“So ya’ know who ya’ fatha is now huh chile?” She asked me

I slowly sat up and stared at the back of my aunt’s head. I didn’t know what the hell she was doing, I just know a cold shiver went down my spine once again.

I swallowed my spit.

“Yes, I do know who my father is” I replied

Aunt Jean turned and faced me.

“Oh, yeah, who ya; fatha’ than’ chile?” She asked me daring me to answer her

“Atlantis, is my father” I confidently told her

My Aunt Jean’s facial expression went an instant stone cold.

“Oh, so that’s the bastard that don’ made my brother crazy in thy’ head and abuse ya’ motha aye” She mumbled off

I was trying to catch every word and sentence she was saying but I couldn’t. she was talking too fast for my liking.

“Auntie what are you talking about now?” I questioned.

My aunt Jean just stared at me with an out of space look.

“Nothin’ chile that you need to worry about. Just know me and ya’ fatha gon dance real soon. You gon’ get you so some rest now you hear me” She replied

I shook my head in agreement.

“Okay, wait where you going?” I asked

She chuckled

“I’m going upstairs to get some rest; I still do work at the hospital
